Early career in mobile and data communications during the rollout of large-scale, regulated infrastructure
Senior operational and executive roles in technology and fintech, including service on a local entity board and direct reporting to the public board within a high-growth payments business
Direct experience of how incentives and governance system dependencies interact with commercial pressure

Systems and Scale

Market development and operations experience across Ireland, UK, EU, Asia, and North America
Technology entrepreneurship focused on analytics, reconciliation, and exception-handling systems
First-hand exposure to how workarounds, and informal practices can persist as organisations scale

Advisory and Governance

Since 2013, independent advisory work with SME and technology-led organisations navigating complexity and growth
From 2022 onward, an increased focus on governance failure and system-level risk, informed by post-failure analysis of major corporate breakdowns
Engagement supporting investigative and journalistic examination of organisational failure, including contributing to Money Men

From these experiences, my work sits at the intersection between complex operational decisions and governance accountability, focusing on how choices made under pressure or uncertainty shape future oversight and resilience.
